I hope you are all feeling fit and well. For those of us who are getting on in years it is sometimes difficult to find the time and inclination to get some exercise, even if we know it will do us good. Last month’s Journal included an article on the growth of Walking Football for those who are no longer up to the rigours of the full-speed version. In this month’s edition we have news of the Kurling competition organised by Blaby District Council Health and Leisure Services to encourage retired people to remain active. Enjoyable events such as these will hopefully inspire others to remain healthy by keeping a little more active.
