Use the computers or WiFi: We have two computers to use to browse the internet, read emails, do internet shopping, research family history and much more. If you want to book a session on the computer please ask or book it on-line or bring your own device to use the FREE WiFi.
Print or Photocopy: You can send documents from your phone, tablet or computer to print at the library or you can scan documents straight to your own email account.
Community Groups and Activities: Starting with our youngest readers we hold the Wriggly Readers session on Tuesday mornings. This is a drop in group so no need to book. Your Wrigglies will listen to stories, sing songs and take part in craft activities in a warm, safe and friendly environment. Our Digital Drop In sessions on Wednesday mornings are for those wanting help with digital devices. Some pop in for a couple of sessions and some attend more regularly each week gaining confidence. The Book Club that started in the early summer has proved to be extremely popular and now has a waiting list of avid readers wanting to join in. They meet monthly on a Thursday evening. On Friday afternoon the Busy Hands and Minds sessions provide a warm place to meet friends, chat, play games and craft.
Our recent Book Sale held in conjunction with the Narborough Market at Dales and Eleven Eleven and the Children’s Books sale outside the library both raised much needed funds. We plan to hold several more Pre-loved book sales. If you have any fairly current books in good condition to donate we would be pleased to accept them.
Our Quiz and supper in September was well attended and enjoyed by all, again raising funds for the community groups and activities.
