The arrival of The Roving Bookshop proved to be very exciting for the children as they were able to browse, choose from a wide range of books and spend their World Book Day tokens. It helped to encourage a love of reading, something The Pastures is passionate about.
Half term allowed us all to recharge our batteries despite the terrible weather! Many of the children and staff found time to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week, dedicated to celebrating kindness and brightening someone’s day.
EYFS are learning all about Africa, listening to traditional African stories, finding out about safari animals, and creating some colourful art. They have also enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day and look forward to doing lots of Easter activities.
