Our village church was beautifully decorated in memory of all those who lost their lives in WW2

The annual Thurlaston Pram Race took place as usual on Boxing Day, starting and finishing at the Elephant and Castle.

The time has come.
Following the removal of 2 of the clock faces in September. It was found that when attempting to remove the 3rd clock face it was not viable
Regular monthly services have continued on the second Sunday of every month, with a well attended Harvest Thanksgiving (jointly with Thurlaston Chapel and led by Peter Harrison)

A fixture for many years in Thurlaston, the Boxing Day pram race provided, as always, an exciting alternative to sitting in front of the television.
In our last issue, a letter from Sarah Smith reported that a camera had been found in Thurlaston. Following publication, the owner of the camera contacted us and he was subsequently reunited with his camera

All Saints Church in Thurlaston was full of people enjoying delicious cakes and a good chat on September 29th, all in aid of a very good cause – Macmillan Cancer Care.

A sunny September Saturday was a much better day weather wise than the Coronation Bank holiday Monday when the first ‘Big Help Out’ took place back in May.
