Thurlaston celebrated the long weekend of King Charles coronation in style, with various events to mark this historic occasion. We would like to thank everyone who decorated the village

This year’s Thurlaston Carnival will be kicking off at 11.00 am on Saturday 24 June and we can’t wait to see you all there!
A big THANK YOU to Blaby District Council for the ‘Green Energy’ Grant. Also to Thurlaston Players for the 20% matched funding which enabled us to go ahead with replacing all the lights with energy efficient LEDs.
Plans are well underway for the Coronation weekend in Thurlaston (May 6th, 7th & 8th). You may already have spotted a large hole on the recreation ground

Carnival 2022 was a huge success

Thurlaston once again held a pram race on Boxing Day. A bright, sunny day attracted a large crowd to witness the athletic prowess of a number of intrepid competitors.

Thurlaston really knows how to put on a show! Saturday 25 June saw the return of the annual village Carnival and the turnout was incredible. Around 2,000 people poured onto the village park

We’re thrilled to announce that our annual Carnival will take place on Saturday 25 June 2022.
Due to Covid restrictions, it’s been 2 years since we’ve been able to hold the event.
