Darren Foster of Narborough has updated us on the results of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) that he took part in a few weeks ago. He raised £252 which went towards the Leicester DGR bringing it to a grand total of £23,538. Leicester’s total was 48th out of 898 cities around the world that have now raised £5.78 million through DGR, raising vital funds for prostrate cancer & men’s mental health research.

Darren’s next charity event is the ‘ABF SOLDIERS’ CHARITY MOTORCYCLE RIDE’ taking place on Sunday 3rd September, 10.30 – 4.00.
‘ABF Charity is the Army’s National Charity, here for soldiers, past and present, and their families for life. We stand at the forefront of support for the Army family, last year supporting 65,000 people in 66 countries around the world. As one of the largest funders in the sector, we award grants to individuals and families, and fund leading organisations that support soldiers, former soldiers, and their families. When we hear of a person or family in need, we aim to respond within 48 hours’.
