Commbus continues to offer our members a very personal service at a very affordable price, picking up door to door and visiting local destinations on our timetable from all the villages on specific days.
Special Friday trips are proving very popular and visit places such as: Market Harborough or Farndon Fields, Stratford-on-Avon, Cherry Lane Garden Centre, Countesthorpe, Armstrong Mills shopping outlet Shepshed, Thurmaston shopping Park, Rugby Town or Elliotts Fields, Oakham Town, Foxton Locks, Lutterworth, Staunton Harold Home and Garden Centre and Ferrers Arts and Craft Centre, Loughborough Town, Blue Diamond Garden Centre, East Bridgford Notts and anywhere else within reasonable distance so as members are not travelling on the buses too long.
We have a special trip on Sunday 26th November to Stamford Christmas Market which proves popular each year and all three buses, with Driver and Escort for your convenience, will be available if you phone the office on 0116 2866116 between the hours of 10am – 12 noon weekdays and ask for your area of pick-up please so that you know which bus will collect you.
These trips are open to existing members, but if you would like to become a member, registration is free, please phone our office for a pack complete with timetable.
News just in. Our long awaited New Transit Mini Bus has arrived and now in full operation on our trips along with our existing fleet of 3 at present. The bus is very comfortable and easy to get on and off. We hope to get delivery of another similar bus before Christmas.
As always, we need drivers and escorts to volunteer their free time to help run this valuable service. You will be welcome and given full training in all aspects. We are a very friendly bunch and you won’t regret volunteering as the rewards for helping others keeps us motivated.
