Commbus is always looking for new volunteer drivers and escorts to join our regular friendly team. Users of Commbus and those who wish to join us as new members please phone our office during 10.00 am to 12.00 noon Monday to Friday on 0116 2866116 for fare prices and any other questions.
We are very professional in all that we do and our drivers are MIDAS TRAINED (Minibus Driver and Awareness Scheme) and tested every 4 years. Our escorts are trained to assist you on and off the bus and to operate the tail lift, if necessary, when you find steps difficult to negotiate. Our regular passengers value our friendly and helpful service giving them independence and an opportunity to spend some time with friends for ½ a day.

Please do have a look, you are most welcome to come on board for a subsidised fare for bus pass holders, depending from which village listed on the timetable to your destination. You will be treated with respect and looked after throughout your whole experience with us whilst getting on and off the bus from door to door with your shopping.
Our 3 minibuses are housed at our volunteers’ premises currently. Our base at Huncote Leisure Centre is closed for the foreseeable future because of the methane problem.
We need a new secure location to keep our buses, preferably close to Narborough or surrounding area. If anybody has spare land or space big enough for 3 buses and our container to help us out, let us know bearing in mind that we are a charity and would require reasonable site fees.
