We are delighted to have our Danemill family back together and welcome our new pupils and families that have joined us.
We have already started our year with some great sporting wins. Our boys football team won 8-1 in their first match. We would like to wish our girls team good luck in their tournament next week. We have also achieved the Gold Sports Mark which is an achievement that very few school achieve so we are proud of our children.
Our Year 6 pupils had an amazing time on their residential trip to Condover Hall; they did high ropes, laser maze, canoeing and so many other great activities. It was lovely to see the children enjoying themselves and getting involved with all of the activities.
We are excited to welcome Parents and Grandparents to our Coffee Mornings. Our PSHE morning was a huge success and we our looking forwards to meeting all of the new Grandparents in October.
Our fundraising events have started with our Family Bingo night. Lots of great prizes were won, everyone had fun especially Mrs Doutre. We are still collecting for the Enderby Food Bank. If you have anything you would like to donate please drop it in the basket at the front of our Office.
We have also been awarded two prestigious awards. The first is our ECO Schools Green Flag which is the result of our hard work. We are also officially a Microsoft Showcase School which is global recognition for the way we use technology within classrooms.
We also still have 2 open mornings for prospective parents to come and have a look at our school; Wednesday 12th October and Thursday 10th November. Please call the office to book a viewing.
