Following the covid pandemic and falling membership numbers, 2022 presented a financial challenge to the Enderby branch of U3A. However we are fortunate in having a dedicated and determined committee and were able to end the year on a high note with a most enjoyable Christmas party in December. We had a superb buffet meal, quizzes and were entertained to a reprise of Roger Prescott’s highly successful “Jukebox Jury” with the panel taxed with deciding on Christmas hits and misses over the years. Our ‘volunteer’ jurors entered into the spirit of the occasion with great enthusiasm, giving a humorous performance and backed up by a noisy audience! Such is Roger’s reputation as a compère he is already booked up for next Christmas! 

With new members and new interest groups proposed, the future for 2023 is looking brighter and for this we give our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful committee. 

Enderby Area U3A holds its monthly meetings at Enderby Civic Centre on the 3rd Wednesday of each month when there is a speaker or activity and there are also a variety of interest groups. Do come and join us….you will be assured of a warm welcome.
