Enderby Bowls Club are holding two open days – Saturday June 3rd & Sunday June 4th at their club house & bowling green on mill lane, opposite the leisure centre. Their superb Club House with its modern facilities will be open for inspection and the Bowling Green set out so that visitors can try the game themselves.
Members will be in attendance to show visitors around and how the game of bowls is played by rolling the bowl to the jack to see the simplicity of the game.
Bowling is a skilled game, but there is little to learn before you can start and it will not take long for visitors to enjoy having a “Roll Up” especially as Tea, drinks and light refreshments are on offer afterwards.
Bowling is a friendly pastime and can be played by all ages and levels of fitness. It opens up a new field of fun and companionship and gets you out in the fresh air to enjoy a convivial activity, giving you the opportunity to socialise, meet different people and make new friends.
INTERESTED? Why not come along and try the game out. We will supply the equipment and Bowls Tutors will be on hand to assist.
