Enderby Bowls Club members are busy clearing the effects of winter from the Bowling Green surrounds, tidying the flower beds and setting out spectator seating. Some decorating of the Club House interior has been done all in preparation for the new bowling season starting soon.
Season 2021 was one of the most successful in the Clubs long history. The Club won the prestigious trophy “The Wade Cup” for the third time in recent years. Enderby Ladies achieved further success in reaching the finals of the County Ladies Pairs.
Enderby Bowls Club held two Open Days during the early summer of 2021 which was well attended and resulted in 18 new members. This has enabled the Club to enter an additional team in the local bowling league to give new members experience of competitive league bowling.
In order to build on this success Enderby Bowls Club have arranged two more Open Days this year on Saturday 28th of May and Sunday 29th May. These two open days will be set out with bowling games and competitions. The Club House, with its superb facilities, will be open for inspection, refreshments will be available and Bowls Tutors will be on hand to give instruction on the techniques of bowling.
So, why not come along and try your hand at the game. We will provide the equipment and with free coaching we will have you bowling and enjoying yourself in no time.
