Enderby Library is my second home. It’s where I go when I’m feeling alone. There is a friendly welcome And the staff remember my name.
Quite often there is someone I know from years ago And we can chat about earlier times. It is warm and comfortable with room to breathe. Gradually my mood softens and I feel more relaxed.
The ambience there is due to the dedicated staff, All volunteers. Books in, and books out, and special requests addressed. There are computers to use and reference books too.
Various groups have their meetings at the library: Pre-schoolers on a Wednesday and Seniors playing games; Both groups enjoy a hilarious afternoon. If your choice is learning a new craft Accompanied by a piece of scrumptious cake and cuppa Or chatting with a group of knitters – you are in the right place!
