Well not really but we did have a wonderful cake-baking competition. 4 categories – Victoria Sponge, Gluten-free, Under 16s and Fireworks. We had 3 judges who had a hard task picking winners (but an easy job eating cake!)

Thanks to all who entered, all who came to buy and eat cake, the wonderful judges, Judith for the amazing firework cake we raffled off, The Enderby Events Group of Enderby Parish Council for putting the event on and the library volunteers who sold cake and drinks and the donors of the prizes – Enderby Co-op and Sugar & Ice. It was another lovely community event. The winners were Amelie (under 16s), Mick from the New Inn (Victoria Sponge AND Firework cake!) and Roxanne (Gluten-free).
