A local cat and dog rehoming charity is holding a Family Fun Day and Dog Show to raise money for the animals in its care.
Leicester Animal Aid is holding the event on Sunday September 21st at Huncote Sports & Social Club, LE9 7TF. Gates open at 12pm and entry is just £2 for adults, under 16s go free and there is free parking.
As well as the fun dog show there will be ‘have-a-go’ dog agility, a full bar, refreshments, ice cream van, raffle, games and stalls.
The popular dog show starts at 1pm, but you can register your four-legged friend from 12pm. It’s £2.50 entry per dog per class and there are seven rounds including Best Rescue, All Comers (any dog) and Waggiest Tail. There will be rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each round, and the winners of each category will come together in Best in Show to compete for the trophy.
