Leicester Animal Aid, a local rehoming Centre for cats and dogs in need, is holding a Family Fun Day and Dog Show on Sunday 15th September.

The Charity hopes that animal lovers will join it for an afternoon of fun and entertainment to raise vital funds so it can continue to care for around 300 cats and dogs each year.

There really will be something for everyone at the event, which is being held just down the road from the Charity’s Centre, at Huncote Sports & Social Club, LE9 7TF.  As well as the fun dog show there will be kids’ rides, a DJ, full bar, refreshments, ice cream van, raffle and more than 20 stalls.

The event is from 12pm to 4pm and entry is just £2 for adults, under 16s go free and there is free parking. The dog show starts at 1pm, it’s £2.50 per class and there are seven fun classes including Waggiest Tail and of course, Best Rescue! The event will finish with Best in Show, where the winner of each round will be invited to compete to see who is crowned ‘Top Dog.’
