Huncote Harriers are a friendly running club that cater for runners of all abilities. We run all kinds of events from weekly parkruns, Leicestershire Road Running League races, cross country race leagues, half and full marathons including London so opportunities to race as part of the club. 

Huncote Harriers run training sessions from Huncote in the Summer and Enderby in the Winter which are led by one of several qualified Coaches or Run Leaders. 

We run a variety of groups in both our Tuesday and Thursday sessions that cater for a wide range of running abilities; from those who have ‘graduated’ from a Couch-to-5K group, people who have some experience that are able to run for an hour with little or no stopping to those more competitive looking to make the prize places in races.

The various groups cover distances starting from 3.5 to 4.5 miles at a very gentle pace, other groups run approx. 5-6 miles, going up to maybe 7-8 miles in one session. 

*Tuesday evenings focus on speed/interval (rep) sessions.- we have 2 sessions depending on ability – either 6-7pm or 7-8pm 

We meet outside Huncote Leisure Centre (Pavilion) during the summer, and outside Enderby Cricket Club during the winter

*Thursday evenings are usually a steady social run. We meet at 6 or 6.30pm at Enderby Cricket Club.

If you would like to try running with Huncote Harriers, feel free to contact any Club Officer who will be happy to advise you as to which group would be most suitable for you (contact link on website below).

You are welcome to run with us for a couple of weeks to make sure you enjoy running with us. After that, we would request that you become a member (membership prices range from £10 to £32 per year).
