Huncote Women’s Institute November 2022

At Huncote WI, we continue to enjoy our monthly meetings. Membership remains healthy at thirty-three. Members and visitors have been entertained by a wide variety of speakers and activities over the last year. Topics include: “Traveleyes”, a charity that provides adventure holidays for the visually impaired : “My life and times in farming and hedge-laying” – this hilarious talk took us all by surprise! We were physically entertained and challenged in equal measure when we learned how to hula hoop in September and master Scottish Country Dancing the following month.

We have enjoyed local trips out during the summer and are due to attend the Concordia Theatre in Hinckley in December. We get together with other WIs on a regular basis. There is always something to plan and to look forward to.

We are a friendly group and would give you a very warm welcome if you feel like joining us at a meeting. On December 9th our speaker will be demonstrating “Recycling with a Difference”.

We meet at St. James’ Church Rooms at 7:30pm each 2nd Friday of the month.
