Join Vista and wear bright colours for World Sight Day!

On World Sight Day, Thursday 13th October, Vista, the leading local sight loss charity is asking people to wear bright colours and donate to the charity.

Vista is one of the oldest and largest local charities in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and have been working with people with sight loss and their families for over 160 years.

Vista is there, at the point of diagnosis, supporting children and adults in eye clinics by providing information, advice and guidance when it’s needed most.

To be able to continue to deliver these vital services at Vista, the charity needs your support. Vista would like to invite you to take part in their ‘Bright for Sight’ day on Thursday 13th October. Show your support by asking your workplace, club or organisation to get involved and come in a brightly coloured item of clothing and help to raise money for Vista by donating £1.

A member of Vista’s team would then be delighted to attend your workplace, club or organisation to present a certificate of appreciation, receive your valued donation and talk about the impact of sight loss.

If you would like to take part, you can register for Bright for Sight and obtain posters to promote the day by getting in touch with Libby Clegg, Vista’s Community Fundraiser at libby.clegg@vistablind.org.uk or on 07477 955286.
