Thank you to everyone who came along to the Marie Curie Coffee Morning held in St James Church Rooms on Wednesday 23 March. This was a beautiful sunny day and the chance to have a tea or coffee and some delicious cake proved to be too much to resist and resulted in a very well attended event. Thank you to all those who provided raffle prizes, including Hawgrip Nursery who donated two lovely tubs of spring flowers. This was the first time the South Leicestershire Marie Curie Support Group had been able to hold a fundraising event since the beginning of the pandemic and it is very pleasing to report that just over £400 was raised and has been sent to Marie Curie to help them to continue to provide care and support at a time when it is most needed.
