Local rehoming charity, Leicester Animal Aid, is appealing for help to find a home for a very special resident who has a heart condition.
We have been caring for four-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, Maxie, for more than two months. Sadly, this friendly and loving girl, has had no interest since she came into the Centre as a stray.
Her kennel mum, Nicole, says that you couldn’t wish for a better companion. Maxie wants to be with you all the time and loves cuddles and hugs. She is a bundle of fun and cheers you up no matter what mood you’re in. She loves a chat and enjoys playing with her toys. Whilst she needs to be the only pet, she’d be very happy to live with older children (around 12 plus).
Although Maxie is a very busy girl who loves to learn new things she is on medication for congenital heart disease and will only need limited exercise. She will be covered under L.A.A.’s Vet Support Scheme and will need to be rehomed within an hour’s drive of the Centre.
If you’re interested in finding out more about Maxie give the Centre a call on 01455 888257 or fill in an interest form on L.A.A’s website www.leicesteranimalaid.org.uk
