Thank you to everyone who came to say ‘hello’ at our stall at Littlethorpe’s Easter Egg hunt on Good Friday, and congratulations to Channtel Broyce who won our Easter egg raffle!
We are looking forward to our first plant and preloved book sale of the year, which will be on May 17th, 10:15am – 12:30 outside the library. We will have a great variety of preloved books for sale, including adult fiction, non-fiction and children’s books; come along and get some books for your summer reading!
Tickets for our yearly raffle are now on sale at the library at £1 each. Local businesses have been generous as usual and we have a lot of fantastic prizes, including a luxury food hamper, a 3 month health club voucher for 2, and a Nokia C22 mobile phone. For the full list of prizes, check our website (nandlclibrary.org). The raffle will be drawn at our Summer fayre on 14th June at 3:30pm.
All of the profits from books and raffle ticket sales go to the ongoing costs of running the library and allows us to provide the community with our services.
If you have any unwanted gifts or suitable items for tombola prizes, don’t throw them away! We would gladly accept them for our upcoming tombola and our summer fayre.
Please note we will be closed on bank holiday Monday, 5th of May. If you have a book to return you can put it in our book drop next to the door or renew it online.
