We hope to see everyone at our winter fair in December, as a part of the Light Up Narborough event! Come and join us for some Christmas fun, dress up and take a selfie, hunt the red noses, and name the penguin. There will be a free children’s activity, children’s lucky dip, and children’s book sale. There will also be a tombola and stalls selling unique handmade gifts. The fair is on Saturday, 6th December, 2025, 2:15pm – 4:15pm.

We are always looking for donations for our tombolas or book sales. So please keep us in mind if you come across any gifts, or suitable items you no longer want. They can be dropped off anytime during normal library opening hours. Thank you for your generosity, all fundraising keeps the library open!

We are open over Christmas and New Year’s on the following dates:

Monday 22nd, December 1pm – 3pm 

Saturday 27th, December 10am – 12pm

Normal hours resume on Saturday, 3rd, January.

We’ve been getting a steady stream of new books delivered to the library as we prepare to look at our stock and weed out any neglected books. So if there’s any book you’ve had your eye on for a while at the library, check it out before it disappears!
