We are pleased to announce the details of our Christmas fair! It will take place on Saturday, 6th December from 2:15pm until 4:15pm!
We will have our popular tombola, children’s lucky dip and other games. Hand crafted items, Christmas books and jigsaws for sale. There will also be a free children’s colouring activity, ideal if you need a sit down from walking along Narborough’s Light Up festival.
We want this event to not just be for fundraising but to also celebrate the library. Come along and ask questions, you will be able to register for the library at the event if you are not already a member.
If anyone has any unwanted gifts or items suitable for a tombola prize, please donate them to the library.

Back to what’s been happening at the library. October was Black History Month, our volunteer, Maddy, made a fantastic poster to go on display with a selection of books from Black authors. Books included Conjure Women by Afia Atakora and a favourite of our librarians, The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, It has been a great opportunity for our patrons to diversify their reading.
We currently have some lovely hand made keychains/bag charms for sale, £4, come take a look! We also always have celebratory cards and preloved books for sale on our spinner in the crime section of the library. Money from all of these goes towards funding the library.

Finally, if you have any wool that you don’t want, our Busy Hands and Minds group will gladly receive it. They use so much making the lovely decorations outside the library that brighten up the village, and will be thankful for any donations. Donations can be dropped off at the library.
