CUP OF KINDNESS
As part of the Kings Coronation, the Brownies were set a challenge by Girlguiding Midlands to say a thank you to a local community group.
1st Narborough Brownies invited the Enderby wombles to join them for an evening of thanks.
The Brownies looked after our nine guests serving delicious homemade cakes and serving tea and coffee. They also presented each womble with a card and a gift made by themselves.
During the evening, the brownies entertained the guests with a thank you song, an action song and played a couple of games which the wombles joined in.
Everyone had a lovely evening, and the girls received their Cup of kindness badge.
Well done brownies and thank you again to the Enderby wombles for all you do for our community.
AQUABOX
1st and 2nd Narborough Brownies had a visit from two volunteers from the Rotary club to spread the word about Aquabox. This is a charity that helps to supply equipment to turn dirty water into clean water.
The Brownies listened to a presentation and then had a go at pumping their own water.
The girls were each given a tube of smarties to enjoy and then to challenge themselves to fill the empty tube with coins. The brownies collected an amazing £120 for Aquabox.
Well done everyone.
