As a reminder, Warren Lane will remain our main Practice site with one patient list over both Practices.

Relocation of Forest House Medical Centre to New Lubbesthorpe Health Centre
In July 2021 we wrote to you to ask for your views on the proposal to relocate Forest House Medical Centre to a new building on the New Lubbesthorpe housing development approx. 1.5 miles away from 2a Park Drive. We asked patients and carers for their views via a survey of the current service and their thoughts since the Covid restrictions were put in place.
After careful consideration, the decision was made to relocate to the new premises, and we are now delighted to inform you that this new centre will be opening on 21st July 2025.
The relocation will increase the number of flexible appointments at Warren Lane Surgery and New Lubbesthorpe Health Centre giving patients greater choice and ensuring patients are seeing the correct clinical expertise to manage their health needs.
This will be a state of art practice that will have facilities to accommodate group therapies such as health and exercise education and room to expand services in the future.
As a patient at Forest Medical Group, you don’t need to do anything. Forest House Medical Centre will permanently close in June 2025. When you book an appointment at the practice from then on you could be offered an appointment at either Warren Lane or Lubbesthorpe Health Centre. Please continue to use our services in the same way.
