The Enderby Parish Council decided to bring their annual “Party in the Park’ forward to coincide with King Charles’s coronation.
There was lots to enjoy including face painting, marsh mallow roasting with the scouts, making crowns to wear, a penalty shoot-out, live music, refreshment stalls, Billy Bate’s rides, a dog show and, of course, the annual tug-of-war.
Although the weather was not the best – it was a little on the chilly side – the rain held off until the last few minutes and the event was very well attended. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time and all the dogs were exceptionally well behaved.
The Parish Council would like to thank all the volunteers and Parish Council staff who made this event possible and hope to welcome you all back again next year.
