Platinum Jubilee Celebration Open Day

You are invited to join Narborough and District Bowling and Social Club to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee and its own delayed Jubilee Celebrations. Narborough Bowling Club, as it was originally called, moved to its current location at the Grange on Coventry Road just over 70 years ago and shortly after a ladies section was formed. Celebrations to mark this occasion were not permitted at the time due to covid restrictions (the Club now operates as a totally mixed club with no separate ladies section).

NDBSC has teams playing in leagues and friendly matches against local teams as well as having in-house matches. Bowls is a very easy game to play and is suitable for all ages. If you are interested and would like to have a go all you need is a pair of flat soled shoes/trainers.

NDBSC will be holding an open day on Sunday 29th May from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. All equipment will be provided and refreshments will be available.

In addition to bowls the Club also has an active social section with facilities for snooker, darts and during the winter indoor carpet bowls. The Club also holds regular social events including bingo, quiz nights, cinema nights, and fish and chip suppers.
