Rotary Club of Blaby - September 2022

A Place to Grow at Enderby has long been supported by the Rotary Club of Blaby. Members recently spent some time harvesting the potato crop, ready for sale at the forthcoming open day, as well as preparing several beds for new planting.

Earlier in the year RC Blaby provided new garden furniture as the previously donated table and seating set had seen better days, so now there is a sturdy but comfortable place for visitors and helpers to sit and relax or enjoy a cup of tea.

A Place to Grow is a sustainable Community Garden with the purpose of supporting positive mental health and wellbeing. This is achieved by encouraging people to learn new skills by producing and subsequently eating healthy food, being physically active, as well as meeting new people in a friendly and safe environment.
