St James Church and Huncote Knitters

Although it was rather a cold day for the Walking Market on 3 April, members of St James Church and the Huncote Knitters would like to thank everyone who visited their stalls and gave so generously. Bric-a-brac on the church stall raised £150 for church funds. The many things for sale on the Huncote Knitters stall raised £200, which has enabled them to buy three Moses baskets for the Baby Basics charity and also to make another donation to the Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital. Any money remaining will allow the group to stock up on wool for future projects.
