The annual Thurlaston Pram Race took place as usual on Boxing Day, starting and finishing at the Elephant and Castle. An unusually large number of entries this year, with eleven cunningly crafted vehicles racing around the village, undertaking a series of challenges on the way. A large crowd lined the streets and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves in spite of the dull weather. As always, they were all winners!
