On Friday 30 September from 10 am - 12 noon the church will be taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning by fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We have exciting news here at Leicester Animal Aid! Work is almost complete on the installation of two new cat sanctuary pens. Funding for this has been provided by the Pets at Home Foundation and a generous donation from local animal lovers, the Proctor family.
Huncote WI has enjoyed a wide range of speakers over the last few months.
In April we were entertained with a talk entitled “On my doorstep”. The topic was photography.
Thank you to all those who joined us for our Platinum Jubilee service on Saturday morning 4 June and to all the groups who took part in the colourful displays inside church. A few photographs of the occasion are included with this report.

Work is underway to refurbish our outside cat sanctuary thanks to a grant from the Pets at Home Foundation.
Easter - In beautiful weather on Good Friday Fr Andrew held a Stations of the Cross service on The Green at 12 noon. The readings at different stages of Jesus’s path to crucifixion reminded us of the pain of the Easter story followed by the joy of His resurrection.
A local rescue and re-homing charity for cats and dogs is excited to be welcoming the public back through its doors to see the animals that are waiting for new homes.
